Terex Cranes, an operating unit of Terex, designs and manufactures boom trucks along with a wide variety of mobile and stationary cranes. This Chief Engineer – Boom Trucks position will be located in Waverly, IA and will be responsible for the current product maintenance activities as well as setting new product development direction of the boom truck line, in coordination with the Sales and Marketing Departments. This highly visible position will report to the General Manager and will lead a team of approximately six Engineers and Designers.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Please Read
- Heavy Mobile Crane Engineering Experience – Specific experience with hydraulic cranes – ideally boom trucks – is essential
- Engineering Project Management and Actual People Management Experience
- BS Degree in Engineering, ideally Mechanical Engineering, is required
- Comfort with Relevant Testing and Analysis Processes and/or Standards specifically: Stress analysis – structural analysis, FEA (finite elect analysis), and ASME & SAE crane stability and test standards
