Paladin is the primary manufacturer of an extensive array of attachments. Familiar product brands offered by Paladin Heavy Construction (PHC) include JRB, CP, and CustomWorks. All Paladin products are distributed through a national base of independent dealers, distributor, rental companies and OEMs. This position is located in Akron, OH and will be responsible for the global development and execution of marketing plans for all PHC markets.

Jordan-Sitter Associates (JSA) is a 32 year old, family-owned, retained search firm. We have been retained by Paladin Construction Group to help them find a Market Manager. This position will be based in Akron, OH.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Please Read

  • A BA or BS degree is required; Marketing or Engineering degree would be ideal. An MBA, or desire to pursue an MBA, would be preferred.
  • Marketing Experience: experience working with/providing marketing support for field based sales team & for broad network of distributors
  • Familiarity with PHC Products & Markets: prior exposure to construction equipment attachment products & applications will significantly shorten this mgrs learning curve
  • Experience developing exhibit plans & participating in trade shows is desired
  • Budgeting, forecasting and data analysis: Experience in the development & monitoring of annual budgets

SALARY & BENEFITS

Alimak Hek National Service Manager

Alimak Hek, Inc. sells and provides product support for three major brands of vertical access equipment; Alimak, HEK and Champion. This key position is located in Houston, Texas and will be responsible for the overall performance of the field service operations throughout the North American markets. This National Service Manager will report to the Vice President After Sales Division and will lead a field team of 36 with 4-5 direct reports.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Please Read

  • Business Savvy: P&L responsibility for product support operations, budget establishment & forecasting, business planning, & demonstrated creativity (out of the box)
  • Service management experience with multiple locations and/or remote-based service technicians
  • Promotability: desirous & capable of being mentored to assume VP-After Sales Division role in appx 2 years
  • Mechanical Aptitude: understanding of basic hydraulic, electronic, & mechanical systems interface
  • Capable of recruiting & training new service techs
