Heavy Equipment Technician
The Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment in shop and yard location
- Document and complete all paperwork for jobs and machines as required
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues
- Look up and order parts as needed
The ideal Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment in shop and yard location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance
- Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufactures
- Look up and order parts as needed
- Document and complete all paperwork for jobs and machines as required
- All tasks assigned by service or fleet managers
- Valid driver's license
- Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere and OTR is preferred
- Working Knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems
- Proficiency with OEM parts look up and ordering systems
